The Benefort digestive

The Benefort is a digestive product in Valle d'Aosta, has a very decisive taste, considerable persistence and has digestive properties.

At the beginning, when the Benefort taste is tasted, the digestive taste of the contained herbs are highlighted, but towards the end the floral and aromatic notes typical of the territory of the Valle d'Aosta emerge.

It is produced in a craft manner and with 100% natural ingredients from the Hone Alpe company in the province of Aosta, specialized typical liqueurs and grappa of the Valle d'Aosta. In the buoy well, a mixture of twenty types of roots, flowers and alpine herbs are used: china rhubarb, gentian, cardamom, achillea and the major absinthment.

In the dialect of the Aosta Valley, the "Patois", the term Benefort refers to Artermisa Absinthium, that is, a major assinment a herbaceous plant belonging to the Asteraceae family. Absinthe is one of the main medicinal plants that the digestive Benefort is composed. Furthermore, absinthment is the basic ingredient in the preparation of Vermuts.
